Before the Second World War there was more than one Vice-President at a time. The Society's Officers also included recorders, photographic recorders, excursion secretaries, a librarian and editor. There were a Boulder (later Glacial) Committee and a Photographic Committee; records of these stop in 1940. There are no records for 1957 to 1960 when the Society was inactive.
