Humberside Geologist no 5

Past Officers of the Hull Geological Society

(Compiled from the Society's archives by Mike Horne)

First published in 1985 in Humberside Geologist 5 and subsequently updated in 2018.

Before the Second World War there was more than one Vice-President at a time. The Society's Officers included recorders, photographic recorders, excursion secretaries a librarian and editor. The Society also had a Boulder (later Glacial) Committee and a Photographic Committee. Records of these stop in 1940. There are no records for 1957 to 1960 when the Society was inactive.
