Society Newsletters
In September 1999 the Honorary Secretary, Mike Horne, started to
send a newsletter to HGS members by e-mail. These contained details of
forthcoming meetings, news about the Society and its members, requests for help
and advice and some meetings of corresponding societies.
Mike made it clear that the opinions expressed in the newsletters
were not necessarily those of the Society as a whole. He also reminded members
to check the dates and detailsof the meetings because he is dyslexic!
