Summary -

Conservation status - SSSI

Parking – to be arranged when you book your visit

Facilities – toilets at site may be available

Access – quarry roads

Hazards – falling rocks; slippery walking

Safety and PPE – hard hat and sensible clothes. Walking boots when dry or wellies when wet

Geological highlights – Red Chalk Formation, Ferriby Chalk Formation and lower Turonian Chalk. Note - the quarry is partly flooded and there is no longer access to the Jurassic rocks.
