The Hull Geological Society holds meetings in the Cohen Building of the University of Hull.
The car parking is
now being managed by Total Parking Solutions of Kettering.
The rules for parking
in front of the Cohen Building, Venn Building and Middleton Hall displayed on a
notice are –
“Between the hours of
08-30 and 16-00 Monday to Friday parking is only permitted for vehicles in
possession of a valid e-permit. To obtain a valid e-permit you must register
your full an correct vehicle registration within the Venn Reception.
“Between the hours of
18.00 and 07.00 Monday to Friday, parking is only permitted for vehicles in
possession of a valid e-permit. To obtain a valid e-permit you must register
your full and correct vehicle registration into the kiosk located within
Middleton Hall.
“Vehicles must park
full within the confines of a single marked bay. No parking on yellow lines,
white lines any hatched or landscaped areas. Blue Badge holders are not exempt
from these restrictions…
“Failure to comply
with any terms and conditions may result in a parking charge of £60.”
We have been
told that blue badge holders wishing to park
near the Cohen Building should contact the Estates Department a few days in
advance – telephone 01482465084 or e-mail isd-suppliers@hull.ac.uk
The information board
does not say when the Middleton Hall Kiosk will be open – we assume it is when
there is a performance there.
Here is some more information about car parking at the University from the Estates Helpdesk: “For visitors/guests coming to Campus to attend meetings, they’ll need to park in the Wilberforce Multi Story Car Park. ”
